Kittypupfinder.org exists to reunite lost pets with their families—faster, easier, and with greater hope.

Intro
Here at Kittypupfinder, we know the heartbreak of a missing pet. That’s why we built a platform designed to make reunions easier. Even with all the amazing social media groups and the caring people who help every day, finding the right post at the right time can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Timing and location matter. Pets can cover surprising distances—sometimes hopping into a truck or simply wandering farther than we expect. By the time days or weeks pass, social media posts get buried, and the chance of someone spotting the connection between a “lost” and “found” post grows slim.

The Challenge
When you post about a missing pet online, you quickly realize two things:

1. The number of missing pet posts is heartbreaking.
   2. Thankfully, there are many good people willing to help—taking pets in for the night, posting about found animals, or alerting others.

But despite the goodwill, connecting the right lost and found posts is daunting. One group may have the “lost” post, another the “found,” and as time passes, posts sink lower in the feed. Without a registered microchip or clear ID, the odds of reunion drop sharply.

Our Story
KittypupFinder was born out of our own moment of despair.

In the dead of winter, we lost track of a tiny black cat who slipped outside unnoticed upon moving into a new home. The chance of finding him—or him finding us—was almost zero. If it hadn’t been for the grace of God and the fast action of vigilant neighbors, we might never have been reunited.

During those days of fear and searching, we realized how much was missing: a centralized, one-stop database that could quickly filter posts by pet type, description, and location—pulling up only the most relevant results when time was critical.

We also saw how far pets can travel. One cat was found two years later on the other side of the country, after crossing an ocean. Others, sadly, never make it home. While searching for our black cat, we met another family looking for their beloved kitty, Dato. Despite volunteers combing the neighborhood, Dato was tragically struck by a car just five miles away. Their heartbreak stayed with us—and became part of our motivation to build a better way.

Our Solution
